Good Karma will have adoptable dogs at Central VT Humane Societies Adopt-a-Thon Friday from 1-3 and then again Saturday from 10-1pm. Special adoption bonus includes a $25.00 gift certificate towards a training class at CVHS and an adoption fee of $175.00 for all dogs attending event.

Good Karma Rescue is hosting it's 1st annual photo costume contest for this year's upcoming Howl-o-ween! Enter your photo on our Facebook Good Karma Rescue Inc. fanpage ( you have to "like" us to post) to win a small, medium, or large dog goodie package which includes a leash/collar, toys and treats! Any species animal may be entered. One vote per person during the duration of the contest. To vote post on that photo's comments that you choose that photo. If you don't have a FB account please email your picture and your info + your animals info to goodkarmarescue @ gmail.com ( take out the spaces.) And we will post the photo for you! Charity Event- Benefit Night at Angeleno's

Calling all dog lovers and fans of Italian cuisine! I have decided to have a charity night at Angeleno's (where I waitress) to benefit a local Montpelier-based rescue. Good Karma rescues dogs (and sometimes cats too) from neglect and abuse and also saves a lot of dogs from high-kill shelters in the south. The more money they receive from donations, the more animals they can save! On Tues. Sept. 6th from 5 pm to 9:30 pm, I will be donating 50% of my tips to this great cause, and my boss has agreed to match all tips 100% (so for example, if you tip $10, the rescue will get $15). Come support a great cause and have a great meal too!
